&#8211; &#8220;[Your Name] Reading Journal&#8221; (If you don&#8217;t have a google account, you&#8217;ll need to create one.)<\/li>\n<li>next, set up the google doc for sharing with me.\u00a0 In your google doc, click on the &#8220;Share&#8221; box in the upper right-hand corner.\u00a0 When the sharing window pops up, click on &#8220;Change to anyone with link&#8221; (right under the &#8220;Get link&#8221; line).\u00a0 Change the sharing option from &#8220;Viewer&#8221; to &#8220;Commenter.&#8221; Then, click on the &#8220;Copy link.&#8221;\u00a0 This is the link you&#8217;ll send to me at <a href=\"mailto:profhanley@gmail.com\">profhanley@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a pretty comprehensive &#8220;how-to&#8221; on sharing google docs:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Google Docs - Share Your Document With Others - 2020 Update\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HOSSFT7sVT4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>now, you have to create the content of the reading journal.\u00a0 Go to our Reading Journal template <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1YshI4lXTtK8UjszNqJinfFL2io8wSjItKIF6b9Yh8RU\/edit?usp=sharing\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 Select and copy all &#8211; &#8211; either by dragging the cursor over the whole table or just using the &#8220;select all&#8221; command.\u00a0 Paste the table into your new google doc (the one you titled &#8220;[Your Name] Reading Journal&#8221;).<\/li>\n<li>make your first entry by filling in the table.\u00a0 When you make your next entry, simply copy and paste the table again and enter your responses to the next story you&#8217;ve discovered.\u00a0 (You might want to\u00a0 insert a page break after each entry by putting your cursor at the bottom of your last entry, clicking on the &#8220;Insert&#8221;
