For Thursday (3/17) and Tuesday (3/29)

For Tuesday, March 29, let’s finish reading Dagoberto Gilb’s excellent short story collection – – The Magic of Blood.  Although all of the stories are fantastic, here are some that I’d like to focus on when we meet again after spring recess:  “Look on the Bright Side,” “Death Mask of Pancho Villa,” “The Magic of Blood,” “Romero’s Shirt,” “Churchgoers,” “Love in L.A.,” “Franklin Delano Roosevelt Was a Democrat,” and “Winners on the Pass Line.”
