Last day of class. Sigh.

Here’s where you want to be.  Each episode page for your Narcos group should include:

• a brief plot summary
• an assignment of actants or actors, e.g. Hero: Steve, Villain: Pablo, etc. (depending on your episode)
• the sequence of story-events – – with the “Proppian” label first, followed by the example from your episode
• the binary oppositions relevant to your episode with a brief explanation of where these appear in the episode

On Thursday, you’ll get together in your groups to compare and contrast the narrative structures of your episodes.  I.e. what patterns do you notice in re story-event sequence/narratemes, in re actants/actors, in re binary oppositions?  What differences among the episodes do you notice in re these same categories?

The final phase of our Narcos project is this: write two or three paragraphs on your group page explaining what you’ve discovered about Narcos through narrative analysis.  Any surprises? Any oddities? Any connections to other TV/streaming shows (via narrative structure)?  This will be due on Tuesday, December 17.
